To tell the truth I haven't done allot of writing since high school, and that was almost six years ago. Although I did take general public speaking last semester and I had to write all of my speeches. We did a total of four speeches for that class, 2-point, informative, demonstrative, and a persuasive. I am hoping to apply what I learned last semester to this class. I think the most beneficial thing I learned about last semester as far as helping me progress in this class is the different techniques used to persuade people. I defiantly need to expand my vocabulary and touch up on my spelling since it has been so long since I have written a English paper.
